What FIXOS reads

When connected to QuickBooks Online, FIXOS reads business records from FIX’s own company file. That includes:

FIXOS does not write to QuickBooks. Creating, updating and deleting records are switched off in the application’s configuration.

Why

To produce internal management reporting for FIX — bringing accounting figures together with FIX’s sales and operations data so the owners and managers can see the business in one place instead of in several separate logins.

Whose personal data is involved

The records above can contain the names and contact details of FIX’s business customers and suppliers, because those details sit inside accounting documents. FIXOS does not seek out personal data, does not build profiles of individuals, and is not used for marketing.

Where it is stored, and who can see it

How long it is kept

For as long as the integration is connected and FIX needs the information for business reporting and legal record-keeping. Copies held by FIXOS can be deleted on request.

Disconnecting and deletion

An administrator can disconnect FIXOS from QuickBooks Online at any time, from inside QuickBooks (Settings → Apps → Manage → Disconnect) or from the disconnect page. Disconnecting stops all further access immediately. To ask for stored copies to be deleted, write to support@fixchocolatier.com.
